These compact and price
attractive pumps are operated by air or inert gases with drive pressures between
1 to 10 bar. There are many applications for MAXIMATOR pumps in Engineering, Oil and Gas Industries, Chemical and
Pharmazeutical Industry, Mining and Construction as well as in Aero-Space Industry.
The MAXIMATOR high pressure pump offers various advantages:
- Pressure control by a manual
pressure regulator or by an pneumatic driven valve
- Through the air drive especially suitable for ex-proof
areas
- Pump stops when the adjusted outlet pressure is reached
- Leakages are replaced by an automatic restart of the
pump
- No energy consumption during long
pressure holding times
- No temperature losses during the pressure
holding time
- Simple design, easy to operate
The pumps have to be connected to the shop air, inlet and outlet line only.
- Safe and user friendly
unit, low maintenance required only
Hydraulic
units for oil and water applications
1. MAXIMATOR units for oil
hydraulics
MAXIMATOR hydraulic units for oil use
(compact units) were especially designed as components for clamping applications.
Only MAXIMATOR pumps series MO (mini pumps for oil use) and
series S (standard pumps for oil use) are integrated in these systems.
By assembling the pump into the tank,
very compact sizes can be realized and the sound level
is reduced.
According to the maximum allowed outlet pressures,
MAXIMATOR hydraulic units for oil application are available
in four versions:
- Standard version with P/T connection up to 1,000
bar
- CETOP 3 version with manifold plate resp. valves
up to 315 bar
- Seat valve version with leakage-free seat valves
up to 700bar
- 2/2 version with manual or air operated 2/2
way valve up to 1,000 bar
Double acting pumps are available
if higher flow capacities are required.

MAXIMATOR units for water hydraulics
MAXIMATOR units for water hydraulics
are supplied completely assembled and ready for connection.
Air driven MAXIMATOR pumps M series (mini-pumps), G series
(large pumps) and GX series (extra large pumps for high flow and special liquids)
are generating the pressure in these units.
The standard scope of supply does comprise:
- Air driven MAXIMATOR pump
- Air control unit with combined filter pressure
regulator, ball valve and pressure gauge
- Tank made of aluminium or stainless steel and
in sizes from 6.5 to 70 Liter
- Manifold block with one pressure outlet connection
- Pressure gauge depending on the required outlet
pressure
- Pressure relief valve
These
units are suitable for water and oil application. If special or aggressive liquids
shall be handled the units are also available in stainless steel.
MAXIMATOR units for water hydraulics
are designed for maximum outlet pressures up to 5,500 bar
(depending on the available shop air pressure and the pressure ratio of the
pump). They can deliver flow rates up to a maximum of 28 Liter/min.
MAXIMATOR
air amplifiers PLV series are suitable for the compression of
pressurized air.
Due to their drive principle the pressure of an
already existing shop air line can be increased in ratios of 1:2 and 1:4.
Only shop air is needed as energy source.
Maximum outlet pressures pmax:
up to 40 bar
Flow capacities Qmax: up to 3,500
lN/min
Benefits of this design are:
- direct pressure increase for a single application
- no energy consumption by the air amplifier when
the operating pressure is reached
- easy to assemble and to operate
- an additional cooling system is not necessary
- non-electrical installation, so application
in ex areas possible

MAXIMATOR PLV series air amplifiers
can be supplied as completely built stations with suitablepressure vessels
that are, depending on the amplifier model, available in different volumes.
Benefits
of these stations are:
- lower pressure pulsations than installations
without vessel
- these stations are easy to install
- at times of high air consumption (peaks) a volume
reserve is available in the vessel
- operating pressure can be regulated through
an air control unit mounted in the air line
- bleed pressure can be adjusted through an additional
air control unit at the operating pressure which is acceptable for the existing
air supply
- where an air control unit is mounted after the
air amplifier, it can be driven by non-regulated pressurized air, therefore
the maximum flow could be reached
MAXIMATOR Gas boosters
are suitable for the compression of gases and shop air. At
maximum operating temperatures of up to 100?C, gases i. e.
argon, helium, oxygen, nitrogen, etc. that are commonly used in industry,
universities and research, can be boosted to the required operating pressure.
The air driven boosters are available in different pressure ratios and versions
(one or two air drive heads, double or single acting, one or two stage).
Maximum outlet pressures: up to
1,400 bar
Flow capacities: up to 350 lN/min
Several boosters can be connected in
series to reach higher gas flow capacities at low suction pressures.
These boosters can be supplied
as a complete booster station with intercooler.
The
construction principle ensures there is no mixture between the gas being compressed
and the drive air.
The check valves are spring ball valves. For oxygen service, the high pressure
part of the DLE is cleaned and treated with a special grease approved by the
BAM (German Federal Association of Material Research).
All metal parts in contact with
the gas are of light metal or stainless steel (1.4305). Dynamic seals are
of special wear resisting synthetic material (teflon).
All boosters can be supplied with an air control unit that
includes a filter, pressure regulator with gauge and shut-off valve. From
the air control unit, due to the fixed pressure ratio of the booster, the
required outlet pressure can be pre-set.
